GRADING SYSTEMS

There are no strict rules on how to grade a movie poster, but there are general guidelines used in the movie art industry. The following is the 6-Grade System which is most generally used and accepted in the collector’s market:

CONDITION DETERMINING FACTORS
MINT A poster in MINT condition looks like it just came off of the press. It will have no blemishes or defects of any kind. It can be folded or rolled, depending on the manner in which it was originally. A poster in MINT condition commands top dollar in that title's normal price range.
NEAR MINT A poster in NEAR MINT condition may have minor blemishes in the BORDER only. The artwork is in excellent condition with no blemishes whatsoever. A poster in NEAR MINT condition commands slightly less than one in MINT condition.
VERY GOOD A poster in VERY GOOD condition may have blemishes in the border and up to approximately one inch of the poster's artwork. There may be small tears in the artwork along the fold lines only. It may also have minor fading. A poster in VERY GOOD condition will command slightly less than one in NEAR MINT condition.
GOOD A poster in GOOD condition may have tears or small holes that measure no larger than a quarter on the outer edges of the poster's artwork. Pieces of the border may be torn or missing; there may be mild bleed-through in the outer area of the artwork; there may be mild fading. In general, a poster in GOOD condition will have minor blemishes around the border and into the outer edges of the artwork. The major area of the artwork must be clear of any blemishes. The price of a poster in GOOD condition generally falls in the middle to lower end of the price range for that title.
FAIR A poster in FAIR condition may have major blemishes which directly affect the artwork of the poster. The poster is recognizable and the artwork is primarily intact. The value of a poster in FAIR condition will weigh heavily on its title. If it is a rare piece, it still may command the lower end of the poster's normal price range. A poster in FAIR condition must be professionally restored.
POOR Posters in POOR condition will have serious blemishes or in general, in such poor shape that even the slightest handling adds to the damage. The value of a poster in POOR condition will weigh heavily on its title. If it is a rare piece, it still may command the lower end of the poster's normal price range. A poster in POOR condition must be professionally restored.

ORDER PROCESSING AND DELIVERY EXPECTATIONS

Once you place an order with REEL DEALS MOVIE POSTERS using one of our acceptable payment methods, your posters will be sent out in a crushproof tube via the United States Postal Service. For United States orders, we use First Class Priority Mail. For International orders, we use air mail.

Orders paid by money order, credit card, cash or PayPal go out immediately; checks must clear. You should get the order within 2-3 business days of when the poster is SHIPPED – NOT ORDERED. We try to ship all products with 48-72 hours of receiving payment.

In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock or on backorder, we may hold the rest of your items until the item is restocked. As soon as it arrives in our warehouse, we will ship your entire order to you in one shipment.

* Let us know if you have a deadline. We will try our best to meet your expectations and we will contact you to provide alternatives. Please include special instruction / deadline date in the comments section of the order form.

PACKAGING

REEL DEAL MOVIE POSTERS is committed to meeting customer expectations by ensuring excellence in quality products and timely delivery. We take great care in packaging our products with sturdy materials to ensure that the poster arrives to you with virtually no wear due to shipping and handling.

Rolled posters are put in a plastic sleeve, and then inserted into a heavy duty, premium strength shipping tube with padding at each end.

Flat material is enclosed in a polyurethane bag, sandwiched between two sturdy pieces of corrugated cardboard and shipped in a padded envelope.

REEL DEALS MOVIE POSTERS offers its’ customers many convenient ways to pay for your order including:

IF PAYING BY PAYPAL:

If you would like to pay for your order via PayPal, when checking out you can click the link that will take you directly to the PayPal web site or just go to www.paypal.com

My user name is dave@reeldeals.com and once the money is received into my account, the poster(s) will be shipped.

IF PAYING BY MAIL (Check Or Money Order):

You can also place your order on our web site using our Pay by Mail option that enables you to complete your order on-line and mail your payment to us. We accept checks and money orders that are drawn from U.S. Banks and payable in U.S. dollars. Please be aware that we do not secure inventory or begin processing your order until we receive your payment and the funds have cleared.

If paying by cash, please enclose between a piece of paper in order to “hide” the cash so you cannot see it at all through the envelope. REEL DEALS is not responsible for lost or stolen cash. SHIPPING

To try and keep shipping costs at a minimal, Reel Deals ships First Class Priority Mail via the United States Postal Service.

Shipping in the US and Canada is a flat $7.00 for 1-10 posters ordered. Over 10 posters is a negotiated price.

EXPRESS SHIPPING:

Express shipping is also available and rates are determined based on the weight of the package. For one poster, Express Shipping will generally cost $18-$20. Any orders that select Express Shipping will be sent the following morning from when the order is placed barring no unforeseen circumstances. Your package will be guaranteed within 24-48 hours from when it is shipped. Of course, any questions regarding this shipping service or exact Express Shipping charges can be answered by calling us at 315-424-0218 or email in us at dave@reeldeals.com

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

For orders other than the US and Canada, the shipping charge is $15 for 1-3 posters. For more than three posters, the shipping charge is negotiated. Delivery times will vary depending on location but 7-14 days is generally the time framed used for delivery.

International orders are subject to potential duties, custom charges and taxes levied by local governments. International customers are responsible for these charges.

Global Express is also available for International orders at a negotiated price.

RETURNS

Reel Deals is committed to quality products and customer service. Sometimes, things can go wrong. In the event you would like to return a product, here are some general guidelines:

RETURN OF ITEM DUE TO CHANGE OF MIND:

In the event you receive an item and for some reason you changed your mind and you no longer want it, we will give you a store credit in the same amount as the amount you spent. Here is how it works:

1. Please notify us within 5 days of receipt of the item by email at: dave@reeldeals.com. In your email please inform us why you are not happy with the product.

2. You must then mail the item(s) back to us. Please send all returns to:

PLEASE NOTE: Reel Deals is NOT responsible for the cost to send the items back to us. The cost is borne by the customer. We must receive any returned items in the same condition as it was sent to the customer. Should any damage occur to the poster while in the hands of the customer or during the return, we will deduct an applicable amount from your credit. Please package the item accordingly for a safe return. ALL RETURNS MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 14 DAYS FROM WHEN THE POSTER WAS ORIGINALLY SENT BY US.

3. Notify us by email of the new product that you would like. There will be an additional shipping cost and that charge is borne by the customer.

RETURNS DUE TO DAMAGED ITEMS DURING SHIPPING:

If you do receive a package that has been damaged during shipping, please notify us within 5 days of receiving the package.

1. You must return the damaged item to us.

2. Please mark on the package, “DAMAGED – RETURN TO SENDER.” The Post Office should NOT charge you for this.

3. Upon receipt of the damaged product, we will re-send an identical item. Reel Deals will bear the cost of reshipping the new item to you.

4. Should we not have an identical item in stock, a store credit for the amount spent will be issued for any new product of your choice. The credit is good for 30 days from date of issuance.

5. All damaged items should be returned within 7 days of your receipt.

RETURNS DUE TO REEL DEAL’S MISTAKE:

Should you receive the wrong item due to an error by the Reel Deals shipping department, here is our policy:

1. Please notify us in writing within 48 hours of getting the wrong item.

2. Please ship the item back to us in the same condition that you received it. Please package the item accordingly for safe return – i.e. – poster back in the protective sleeve and some kind of paper cushion at both ends of the tube. Please re-tape the end caps.

3. Once we receive the returned item, we will reship the correct item to you. Reel Deals will reimburse the customer any fees it costs to reship the item back to us and we will pay for any new shipping costs to send the correct item to you.

** - Remember, we must be notified within 48 hours of the customer receiving the incorrect item. THANKS!
