"HOW DID IT GET HERE?"
Cool item here!! This is an original Bus Card or Drugstore Counter Display Card. These cards are super rare to find and they were used in a couple different locations. Some were displayed at the movie theater itself above or below movie posters in the lobbies or outside; some were displayed at nearby drugstore counters; and some even on city buses to advertise the film. These display cards are printed on a thick window card-like stock and measure 4" x 11". They were almost always done in duo tone colors - usually blue and white or black and white.
This Bus Card is in VG condition. There is some areas of minor paper loss where it looks like the surface was pulled off maybe by tape? There is also a very small water stain above Howard Hawk's name. This card was never folded and will be shipped flat. As mentioned, it measures 4 x 11 inches in size. It has been stored in a dry, smoke-free home. Great RARE item for 50's SCI-FI collectors!
